When I was little, I was never healthy for a full day. When I would go to school, I would carry around an oxygen tank so that I could breathe properly. There was once where I had come close to death. At that time, my mother and father promised me that they wouldn't ever leave me. That is, until someone came in an murdered them while I was at school. When I was dropped off from the bus stop, I automatically knew something was wrong because my mother would always wait for me. When she wasn't there, I began to get worried. 'Had she forgotten?' Was the first thing I thought as I walked up the stairs and into my house. 'Mama? Papa?' I questioned walking into their room. As I made the first step in, I heard squishing under my feet as if the carpet was wet.

I knew there was always something special about me. I knew I was different from all the other girls. I could feel things before they actually happened, hear things nobody else could. I wasn't normal, there was just something there. In no way though, had I expected to be told that not, was I only half human, but 50% angel, and not an angel of heaven. A fallen angel, damned, yet given a second chance to make things right, to be rescued before taking the wrong turn in my life that shamed me from my existence in heaven. I stand outside my home broken and shattered, who I am I don't know. I stare at my ever pale hands and try to see what made me like this from under my skin, but I guess I wasn't given that kind of gift but I have in me some form of powers that seemed to have brought me misfortune. I owe this all to my dad because if he never met my mom maybe just maybe I would have been born normal. I wish I wasn't born a freak, born a hybrid.
