Adrien awoke with a start as his alarm clock blared in his ear. He fumbled around for the button until he finally managed to shut it off. He got up and yawned, making his way to the bathroom.
"Morning, Plagg." He said groggily.
There was no response.
He waited for a moment before calling out a little louder "Plagg?"
Silence.
Adrien started to get worried. Yeah, Plagg liked to joke around with Adrien at times, but he would always stop before Adrien got worried.
Adrien walked around his huge room in search of the kwami when he happened to look down at his right hand.
Oh no.
His ring was gone.

Marinette, being Ladybug, is head over heels for a famous Parisian model, named Adrien. Adrien himself being Chat Noir is enraptured by the smart, quick-witted Ladybug. So, who's Plagg and Tikki? Well, they are mysterious, immortal creatures called kwamis that help the two teens to become the two superheroes. Tikki is with Marinette, backing her all the way. Adrien had gotten into one of the biggest arguments he had ever had with his father, leading him to run from his home as his alter ego, Chat Noir. They had grown apart since his mother's disappearance. Adrien always tried to speak with his father and try but he was always busy or away. He finally snapped at his father. But where would he go for the night? He had to find someone he could trust. Marinette wasn't expecting Chat Noir to show up on her balcony with red eyes filled with tears. Her first thought after seeing him was the akumatized version of him, Chat Blanc. She immediately brings him inside, making it her job to help him. She was not going to let her partner become her worst nightmare. He needed some place to feel safe? She would become that. It became an everyday thing. Chat Noir would visit Marinette every day, they would talk about their days as Chat tried to keep his as dense as possible to not reveal his identity. They would play video games and eat food from the bakery. But what happens when something happens to Marinette that makes her break? Marinette has no where to go so Chat decides to be that place. 🚨DISCONTINUED🚨 i re-read this book and... well, comparing it to my latest works, it kinda sucks. the story is good and i like where it was going. i just... don't like it anymore. plus, with season 5 out now, i have to rethink my original ending and everything. i am rewriting it. it'll have an oc, an new kwami and a whole new backstory, so a lot is gonna change. i don't know when i'll start posting it but i promise it'll be better than this. thank you for enjoying this one if you decided to read it :) ------------------- (Y/N) has just moved to France. She is a spunky, athletic (sorry if you're not), and an incredibly observant person. Naturally, when villains start attacking Paris and heroes are saving the day, she recognizes her friends, Marinette and Adrien as the superheroes, immediately. Being their bestest friend ever, however, Y/N doesn't tell anybody that she knows and tries her hardest to cover for them when they're late or are struggling to come up with an excuse; plus she joins in on adventures often. Someone was screaming. A horrific, guttural sound that infected the entire night with sorrow. He wondered if it was the ghosts of the people he'd just killed. He wondered if they'd come back to haunt him, to follow his every waking move, to never let him forget the way he'd demolished them into dust. The sound pounded through his head, threatening to burst open his eardrums, determined to push him to a breaking point. Collapsing to his knees, Chat Noir had to pause to draw in a deep breath. It was only then that he realized the person screaming was him. -- Essentially a rewrite of the Miraculous movie, for people who liked the film well enough but it didn't quite meet their expectations--- But in this version: Adrien is the main focus instead, the Love Square is reversed, all the characters retain their TV-show personalities (meaning Plagg is not an annoying fart joke), the plot is way more insane, and the themes are a helluva lot... darker. (Also, the songs are somehow still included?? I just rewrote them to fit the opposite character-- but they're easy enough to ignore if you really hate songfics.)Complete

Marnette is an average everyday girl with a superhero friend and a super secret. She is ladybug. One day Chat finds out Ladybug's identity and was surprised to find out that Mari his sweet princess is Ladybug. Soon Marnette finds out by Plagg that Chat loved Ladybug not the real Marnette. They have a big fight because of what Plagg said and Mari is mad at Chat for two months and Chat was so hurt during that time but Plagg never told him the truth. Things just kind of got out of control. ------------------------------------------ "What's wrong?" He asked worried, "Why are you here when you should be at school." I looked at him, I opened my mouth but nothing came out so I closed it. "What happened?" Chat Noir's identity has been revealed in the worst possible way imaginable - In front of a nation-wide broadcast crew while facing an Akuma.
