Preface:
The Amazons of Ezn are an all-female military corps of the Kingdom of Ezn. They were so named by Western observers and historians due to their similarity to the semi-mythical Amazons of ancient Anatolia and the Black Sea.

Origins:
King Minoba (who ruled from 264–146 BC), the third King of Ezn, is said to have originally started the group which would become the Amazons as a corps of Archers called the Femina Sagittarii. This corps of archers would participate in the Punic Wars
 
Minoba recruited both men and women soldiers from foreign captives, though women soldiers were also recruited from free Ezn women, enrolled as young as 6 years old. Other accounts indicate that the Hedo were recruited from among the M'heda ("king's wives") of which there were often thousands. 

But the majority of the Amazons were handpicked by the King trusted military advisors from the 16 tribes of Ezn selected to serve the King as bodyguards and potential wives in order to keep the tribal peace. They were chosen using the Kingdom’s devshirme system or “blood tax”. The system was established and enacted when the 16 tribes of the Kingdom were first unified as a way to insure a force that protected the monarch was loyal only to the crown and the Kingdom, not their tribe. 

During their membership they were not allowed to have children or be part of married life (though they were legally married to the king). Many of them were virgins. The regiment had a semi-sacred status, which was intertwined with the Eznite Christian beliefs. The M'heda trained with intense physical exercise. Discipline was emphasized. Serving in the M'heda offered women the opportunity to "rise to positions of command and influence" in an environment structured for individual empowerment.

The Current Amazons of Ezn are elite tier one special operation super-soldiers who's skills and experience in the art and science of war is the culmination of 25 centuries of warfare.All Rights Reserved

For a millenia man thrived under the gods Egypt. Osiris proved to be a capable and wise ruler. His wife Isis taught man man things and gave them tools to succeed. Nephthys taught them how to prepare the dead, and how to prepare for the afterlife. Yet Set grew greedy. He wanted more power. He wanted his brother's throne. He wanted to rule all of Egypt himself. And so she escaped Thinis and travelled to Memphis to claim sanctuary with her brother and sister. There she gave birth to Anubis. The jackal headed god of death took up his position and began to ferry the dead souls through the underworld. Isis foretold the coming war with Set. But Osiris, always trusting of his brother, did not see the danger. And so invited him to the announcement of Isis' pregnancy. It was there that Set killed his brother. Nephthys and Isis escaped Memphis under the cover of darkness, and took refuge with their loyal followers. There, Isis gave birth to her son Horus. The hawk god, Isis prayed to her grandfather for guidance. As Horus grew older, Set's grip on power strengthened. Fear ruled the young Egypt. But those both god and man were still loyal to Horus and his mother helped plan revenge. Horus, now a man. And his trusted human servant Ahmose battled Set. This carnage saw the sacred Nile run red with blood. Hearing the cries of man. Amun Ra travelled from his sacred ship and commanded all gods to return to the afterlife and fight their battles there.

After expanding her territory, a female would be considered nobility. The stronger their champions, the better their resources and territory. Larger area's typically had one queen female and her court made up of nobility. Every double full moon, they would fight for the honor to have their female enter the queen's court. At the end of the queen's reign, she could choose a new queen from her court. In the midst of all this, Bree discovered her own magic power, 'Otome Gamer.' While Bree is trying to fulfill her quests, and an ultimate goal that would change everything, a frightening darkness is spreading, and shifters start to disappear.
