There's always a tragic story behind a rebellious teenager, always a motive behind the anger, outbursts and destructive ways, too often it's a tragic one. For the five misfits of St Johns High School their only chance of avoiding Juvie, is drama class.

This wasn't their usual punishment, after school detentions? Cool. Weekend detentions? Fine. Getting yelled out by an adult who thinks they know you? Whatever. Needing to get a high distinction on a film based on Love? Not at all okay.

But if there's one thing that misfits know how to do, it's win. There was no way in hell they were going to let Principal Harvey- who has wanted to kick them all out for as long as they can remember- win this game.

But what on earth do they know about Love? Not one of them knows what love feels like, but they did know what heartbreak was, they knew it all too well.
