Inside the Walls
Pale is just another girl in her village. Her village is surrounded by a large stone wall to keep everyone inside safe. However, when one of the stones near the bottom of the wall deteriorates, Pale finds out that there are other villages on the other side of the wall and, actually, her village is just one of hundreds of villages within the walls. Then, Pale finds out something else: someone doesn't want her to know about all the other villages. Soon, Pale has to go on the run to stay alive.
