Hazel Blythe was different, but she doesn't know that. She comes from a human family, with human friends, and a human community. So she thinks. Hazel is not a very happy girl, and she pushes a lot of people away. She believes she's not good enough. But she is. She is more powerful than she could ever imagine, that anyone, could imagine. But when Hazel does something bad, her parents are fed up, and they send her to boarding school in Idaho. But when Hazel finally starts to somewhat begin to settle, a mysterious boy shows up, and makes her life a little more complicated, but all Hazel needs to do is hang in there.
