Rise and Fall

Alek Thoreaut lives in a world where everything is balanced. The four Season Quadrants are run collectively by each set of Superiors, and higher power is handed off to the next season in the circle every solstice or equinox. Everything was as it should have been. Until Summer made its move on Fall. Caught in a burning world, Alek escaped his ravaged home, only to be put into hiding by his uncle, and left to fend for himself. With his uncles' return, Alek is thrown into a new life entirely. One where he isn't who he thought he was. One of rebellion. One of resistance. One of love. With the help his new-found friends in high places, Fall has a chance -a fighting chance- to rise again.
