Long ago there was an enemy simply known as the darkness this enemy nearly destroyed the world but was stopped and traped in the nether realm where all darkness lives. Thousands of years later the world has forgotten about the darkness but it has not forgotten about humanity , the darkness waits for the day it can be set free witch is coming soon for the servants of the darkens have found a way to set the darkness free. And with the magic arts forgotten all hope is gone.

Guardians of the Light (Book 1: Rebirth)
Many centuries ago, an unspoken darkness swept across the land taking all that was light and pure in the world with it. Creatures of this darkness roamed free to spread the darkness wherever they went consuming any trace of light remaining. In order to stop The Darkness from controlling the world, a group of priests took the remaining pieces of light and placed them within the body of two chosen children. Ronin saw the faces of the new Children of the Light and was tasked by the Elders to track them down and protect them at all costs.The children were both college students and were one male and one female whose names were James Hillman and Sara Danvers..When Ronin went to see he ran into a ghost from his past, Lillian.
