third poem collection. they aren't in any particular order or anything like that, and after 100, there will always be a new one. if you've been here a while, I'm sure you know the drill. now, about the cover. it was a random Thursday, and an old friend and I went to Cottonwood Island Park in PG. this bridge is covered in graffiti and writing, and it has been painted over to cover it up, or boards have been replaced to get rid of it. yet, there's always writing on this bridge. it felt like no matter what, nobody can silence the voices that need to be heard. and I felt that. anyways, please enjoy this chaotic collection of poetry. The Scars I Carry
A collection I've put together of a few original poems I've written over the years. These poems are relating to personal experiences and emotions, and I debated publishing them for a very long time. I've finally decided to publish some of my work in hopes that they can help some people through difficulties, as writing them helped me. I will be adding more as I write them of course. There are various forms and styles so each piece is different from the others, although this collection follows similar themes. I will be putting trigger warnings for each and every poem that requires them, as well as which triggers are contained in which poems that way you have the best idea of what you will find. If at any point you feel triggered by my writing or by something else, please don't be afraid to reach out for help, you are never alone, I promise you. The themes/possible triggers contained within this collection are the following; self-harm, suicide attempts and general talk of suicide, emotional and psychological abuse, childhood trauma, mental health and mental illness (anxiety, depression, ptsd, anorexia- etc), death and dying-and others.
