When 3-year-old Alex, loses his mother to cancer, he leaves with his father. Creed, Alex's father, was already in love with Rylie a woman he met a year after he left Alison. She had a son named Ryan already, so he took him in. Now 13 years later, Alex is 15, and Ryan is 16. Ryan was sexually abused as a child by his biological father Daniel, and to get over the fact of that, he feels as if Alex should go through the same pain. It all started at age 10 and 11.
