When 3-year-old Alex, loses his mother to cancer, he leaves with his father. Creed, Alex's father, was already in love with Rylie a woman he met a year after he left Alison. She had a son named Ryan already, so he took him in. Now 13 years later, Alex is 15, and Ryan is 16. Ryan was sexually abused as a child by his biological father Daniel, and to get over the fact of that, he feels as if Alex should go through the same pain. It all started at age 10 and 11. Now it has carried on for five years and has worsened badly. Yet, Alex thinks he deserves it and takes it, sense he was little his father has told him it was his fault Alison, his mother, is dead. He feels as if it really is. Him being 5' 5" he is pretty short for a boy in highschool and being 140 he is very small in weight too. A perfect size for bullies. But what happens when one of his major bullies, Tyler, gets a work assignment with him that has to be done out of school? Will Tyler dig deeper into Alex's life? Will Alex let him? What about if Tyler realizes he might be growing feelings for Alex? Or more importantly, when Alex and Ryan realize it too?
