Rose Hawthorne leaves London in search of a new life, she heads to Birmingham and begins work as a barmaid at the local pub The Garrison. She was part of a notorious gang called the Crimson Dukes until she ran away, because of this, she is aware of the Peaky Blinders (arch rivals of the Crimson Dukes). She grows close to Tommy, never telling him of her past life... Until it appears on her doorstep.
