"I like to look at my scar." I gazed at the thick line about 1 1/2 inches long that ran directly underneath my left wrist, that I created on my other than that clean left arm. "why, autumn?" My eyes glanced up at Lacy then back down to my hand. " Because.... Sometimes when I forget who I am, I can look at it and remember." "and who are you?" "I'm..... I'm alone." It's hard you know. but of course you don't. because you weren't taken. you weren't taken back. you weren't in a hospital in a coma for 4 years and been awake for 2 months and not have your parents visit. so consider yourself lucky. Autumn was abused for 4 years of her life and is now on her way home from recovery. she's not yet ready to forgive anyone yet. not for a while. but she is being pushed into a social world and need all the help she can get....... consider yourself luckyAll Rights Reserved
