You've seen people attacking and eating each other. Some with a dead glare in their eyes. And others...just trying to survive. This is the apocalypse. This is a dystopian society. Welcome to hell...
Warning: May contain many things like violence, swearing, sexually explicit content (at some point), et cetera. Also, a bit of plot ideas from the walking dead (not really, just one main thing). Trying to survive the apocalypse isn't just about slaying the undead. It's a πΈπ©π°ππ¦ lot more complicated than that. Hardly anybody ever considers the barbaric murderers with the Cheshire Cat smiles or the cunning killers lurking around for their next victim to slice open. Or what about the huge range of communities out there, trying their best to thrive in the new world? Surely, not all of them are bad... right? Well, Brooklyn Scotts would be inclined to disagree to that last point made. For the girl has been surviving on her own since it all started, joining and leaving small groups here and there. Becoming Them: A Zombie Novel
What would you do if one second you were struggling to survive with your friends and mother in tow, and then you wake up to find yourself with a group of strangers the next - all during the country's takeover of blood-thirsty zeds? Megan couldn't believe her eyes. Her brain was muddled with confusion she couldn't get rid of, no matter how many times those strangers reassured her and explained what happened. But she had to accept it, even though it didn't make any sense to her. Megan had been with her mother every step of the way since everything turned to chaos, beginning just a year before, and now she was nowhere to be seen. And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. She would soon find out just how far people would go to ensure their own survival. -------------- Please check out my first finished novel. The Hearts That Still Beat
We've all thought about it. The apocalypse. Of course we have. Some believe it's inevitable. Some believe it'll never happen. Some believe were doomed and others that the military would stop it before it could actually ever get bad. It's normal to think about the end of the world. Because if the world never ends what the point of it beginning in the first place right? Well I thought about it. A lot. Never thought It would happen in my lifetime though. Then it did. And turns out, the military really couldn't handle it and its not nearly as cool as it seems Sorry if it's not that great. This is my first real story with a plan, a laptop and an actual goal.
