"Trying to break me? Want to find my insecurities? Want to humiliate me? You can call me pathetic, a nerd, hell say everyone hates me for the fun of it. I don't care. I'm not going to fall victim to your harassment, nothing you say will hurt me. So go ahead, try. Tell me everybody wants me dead. Tell me I'm a waste of space. Call me ugly, see if I care." He stepped closer to Lydia, their faces only a few inches apart. "Your opinion means nothing to me, so have at it. Let loose, let's see what you've got." Jake Anderson is more than the stereotypical nerd his small town believes him to be. Engulfed in a community overrun by bullying, stereotypes, and people who value reputation and status over basic morality, Jake is on a one-man mission to change his town. He's going to open everyone's eyes to the faults in their community, even if it comes at his own expense. Commence Project Nerd. *Most chapters are drafted for the time being. "Who are you exactly?!" I growled angrily. She tried to free herself from my grasp, but I pinned her to the wall. She glared at me angrily as she kept pushing me. "I don't fucking need to tell you anything!" She spat. "I am not leaving until you tell me!" I whispered angrily as I leaned in closer. I felt her stiffening up, and as I felt she will reveal, instead she smirked as she whispered in my ear, "You don't want to do something Aiden, which you might regret later!" I backed up at her words as she walked away, not turning around once. "Who are you...?" I mumbled to myself. ******************************************************** Moving away from home, set to begin his new life with his childhood bff in the New York City, Aiden Blake was more than ready for this. Just a glance at his Greek god body, a whisper of his husky voice with his charming and attracting charisma; he already had all the girls falling for him at an instant. All but one. Meeting her at the most unexpected moment, he couldn't help but be drawn towards this mystery girl whereas she has no intentions of even staying within the sights of this newcomer playboy. But what will happen when the secrets the girl had buried deep within, secrets she wanted to remove from her life, seem to emerge out? What will happen when the dark secrets start to haunt him too? Will he stand by her side, or will he step away? Will they ever be able to move past everything to see each other truly? Different as Fire and Ice; will they meet together or fall apart?
