"I have a boyfriend.", I blurt out. I regret it the moment I say it.
"You have a boyfriend?", Aiden ask, raising his eyebrow.
"Why is that so hard to believe?", I ask glaring at him. How dare he? Even if we know I'm lying, why wouldn't there be a possibility that I have an actual boyfriend.
"It all sounds made up to me. I don't believe you.", Aiden says, letting go of me just to lay against the doorway. Why is it so hard to believe?!
"Well....it's true. Okay?", I respond, crossing my arms. He smirks and walks up to me, so we're almost at eye level.
"Prove it.", he says, with such a demanding voice that almost wants me to prove him wrong.
"I don't have to prove anything to you. I guess you just don't have enough faith in me to believe I have a boyfriend."
"That's exactly what it is.", Aiden responds, smirking even more. "But if this 'boyfriend' of yours is real, you'll prove me wrong, wouldn't you?"
