"Don't act like you are better than me," he chuckled, spitting on the ice.
"It's not an act Bryce, I've seen better hands on a clock," I reply with a smirk.
"I have played hockey with you for what, ten years?" he asks, "And I've seen better saving percentages on my grocery receipts" he laughs at his own chirp. I shake my head and smack my glove against my pad "Shut up and skate".  He smiles before kicking up ice with his skates and taking off towards the net. He dekes left and I stand still waiting for him to cut back across the ice. He switches sides and I knock the puck off his stick with a poke check, laughing all the while. He skates around the net shaking his head as I laugh "Just remember Bri, girls don't play hockey".
