PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SUE ME (or hate me :( ) Wishes are one of the most powerful things about humans. They hold people's deepest desires, deepest thoughts, and most beautiful dreams. But they are also magically powerful, and the King of Rosas knows this. The great sorcerer King Magnifico founded Rosas with the sole purpose of harvesting this power. His people, when they turn 18, give him their wishes in exchange they get to live in a safe, beautiful, and prosperous kingdom completely for free. And once a year, a lucky citizen may have their wish granted, returning back to whole. However giving up a wish is a difficult thing. It's like taking away a part of your soul, leaving behind an empty gap no material object will fill. Asha, a 17 year old girl who has yet to give up her wish, watched as this emptiness consumed her grandfather. He is about to turn 100 years old, which means he has lived almost 82 years with that emptiness that seemed to just grow and grow over the years, but he is a strong man, never giving up on the dream that one year his wish will be granted. Asha, determined to make his wish come true, tries to become the King's apprentice, one of the sure-fire ways a wish could be granted, is to become the one who can grant it. But instead of learning how to grant wishes, Asha learns the dark reason why King Magnifico keeps them. Fearing for her people's wishes, Asha turns away from the King and his ways, doing the forbidden and wished upon a star, only for a boy who's hair glowed like starlight to fall from the sky.Complete

This is a rewrite of the movie Wish, celebrating 100 years of Disney. However, the movie was received with mixed feedback due to its plot and songs. Also, many cool concepts were scrapped in the film, which is why I incorporated them in my version of the story. --- A jaded, straightforward assistant to the King of Rosas learns a horrifying secret that changes her worldview forever. Meanwhile, a prince from the heavens descends down to Earth in search of his missing subjects and bring them back to his long forgotten kingdom. "Salvē!" The golden specter repeated. She was in shock. That had to be it. All that tossing around in the water must have shaken her insides around enough to make her see things. She blinked a few times, but he was still there, looking even more confused than her. "Quid...agis?" She rubbed her eyes. Come join me for a fully reworked, reimagined version of Disney's 100th anniversary film, Wish (feat. scrapped concepts and ideas, further developed characters, a TRUE villain w/a backstory, romance, AND MORE)! DISCLAIMER: I saw Wish opening day and thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought everything about the movie was beautiful, but I wasn't a huge fan of the writing. But that's OK, because now I get to play around with the plot myself! I hope you enjoy!
