Boiling Man

As a man he feels lost out in sea,
For miles and miles water is all he sees.
Flowing and crashing in,
And out of his life.

He feels pain on a molecular level,
The waves pull at him,
He is disheveled.
Out in the sea the clouds creep,
And his future becomes shrouded in mystery.

Out at sea he boils on the inside.
Out at sea his eyes die like the last flickering street lamp.
As a man his heart sinks,
As a man he feels trapped out in the sea.
Out at sea a man cries,
Out of sight no one inquires.

The Tears I Learned to Love is a collection of poems that explores the complex journey of love, loss, and healing. From the fiery passion of first moments to the silence left by absence, this book is about the deep ache of letting go and the quiet strength found in rebuilding.
