When Josefina, a 16 year old girl is excluded from her group in school because she is believed to be from the 'experiment' that tore the world apart and left the disease, The Flare, she is torn apart. But there is a new kid, Newt who is the only person that she can trust. Will she be able to prove her friends wrong or will she finally be revealed the truth and find out who Newt really is?
