All the children surrounded nanny to hear some late night story. As the nanny picked the regular book. All of them revolted, asking her to change the story. Taking pity of the baby left at their doorstep, the archmage took him in as his son and trained as his apprentice and heir. Only to be told by the said orb that the entire world he lives in is a novel, in which he's destined to die at the age of 24 in the future.
