"In retrospect, I could've gotten away with this even if my parents weren't attending Mr. Frank's Kitchen Convention this spring break." Joey's not the kind of boy who wastes the week he has off from school. Staying local while his parents are away isn't even a possibility for him, so why not spend time on a cross-country road-trip that could possibly jeopardize his friendships, his sweet van, and his life? Yet, Joey isn't going to be driving solitary, listening to blues and moping on his road-trip of a lifetime. He's persuaded a few close friends to accompany him on his trip; Levi, a smart aleck with a heart; Lucy, a childhood friend with an alter ego; Emmett, a twelve year old boy with a knack for sarcasm; and Antione, an unexpected friend whose first experience of the U.S. is a law-breaking, parent-deceiving road-trip. For only a mere day, a few in the know of Joey's journey soon grows into a few dozen, and soon a few thousand all thanks to a social-media account titled, "Joey and the Road-Trippers." After that, their adventure is exposed for all the world to see. As Joey and his trek explode, things started coming up roses. Yet, this is a teenage-driven road-trip, so it's in the cards that something is bound to go awry. From a circle of identical brothers to encounters with less-than--delighted relatives, no road-trip can be left without flaws. As the strings of lights shines down upon this cautionary, traditional American road-trip with its panic, pleasure, and pain, the group makes a pact- to never let their parents find out. (This was my final project in a Creative Writing class last year, and due to quarantine, I decided to opt for an easier, more fun piece to write. It's kind of like if "Vacation," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," and "That 70s Show" had a baby, I guess)Complete

"Do you ever give being insufferable a rest? Don't you get tired of annoying me and then acting smug about it?" Mitchell annoyed asked the infuriating girl sitting across him. "Why do you always find a fault with everything I say or do? Could it be that I'm the first girl that isn't flustered around the infamous Mitchell Clarke?" Mila raised a brow. Mitchell, once again annoyed with the girl who's been taunting and teasing him for way too long abruptly stood up from his chair and made his way across the table to where she was seated, he placed one hand on the table and the other on the headrest of her chair and hovered over her, his face a mere centimeter away from hers. "Ooh turn on the air-conditioner things are about to get H.O.T - hot." Mila remarked as she fanned herself. "Don't act invincible, I see you when I'm not looking, you're dying for me." He whispered Mila shifted up in her seat and moved closer to him, she looked in his eyes and challenged, "If you're man enough, out that theory to the test and kiss me." Mitchell and Mila are complete opposites. They meet once on a very drunken which results in an attempted one night stand gone bad. Thereafter, they swear to forget it and each other. Fate however brings them together when their best friends take a decision to get married in Vegas. In order to stop them, Mila and Mitch reluctantly embark on a road trip which includes crazy shenanigans, pointless fights, awkward moments, and a whole lot of teasing which rises the sexual tension between these two nemeses. What happens when two nemeses have to spend seven long days together in the name of friendship? After literally pulling each other's hair, will they survive one week in a car and shared hotel rooms? Or will the saying 'A fine line between love and hatred' once again be proved?Complete
