Fear. There is nothing in this world stronger than fear. The stories told of my kind, they were made to create fear. The only problem with that fear is the fact that it is a double edged sword. It keeps children at home throughout the night, but is also brings hunters. And nothing is worse than hunters.

Brush my teeth, get dressed, go to school and do homework. That's what my life was about, occasionally going to parties. But when a new kid comes to school and turns your world upside down, your best friend turning into your enemy. And me, turning into something that isn't exactly human. Things could get pretty strange. Especially with a life like mine. It would take a lot of work to actually survive, but to live at the same time is just exhausting. But it's all worth it. Being orphaned at 11 isn't that bad. I mean, your mother dying at home, right in front of your eyes and your dad leaving you to go on a "supposed" hunting trip and never coming back. Yeah, that doesn't faze me at all. Also, being scarred at 10, naw. Might bite you in the ass later, but what can you do about it. Loving your best friend even though your other best friend loves you, that can be a bitch.
