I love hearing her say my name, I love how good it sounds when she says it.
But the problem is I don't know who that girl is. The doctor says it could be someone I knew before 'it' happened. Maybe someone I was well acquainted with.
but no matter how hard I try I still can't remember who she is. Her face, her voice, her hair they all feel so familiar yet so far away

In a world where the future isn't written but echoed, 17-year-old Lila hears the whispers of events yet to happen - but they're not hers. The echo she's been hearing for months is someone else's life, someone's fate, and that someone is in danger. As she tries to uncover the identity of the person behind the mysterious echoes, Lila finds herself caught in a web of secrets, shadowy figures, and a powerful organization that will do anything to keep their plans hidden. Can she stop what's coming before it's too late, or will the echoes become her own fate? First Chapter (Excerpt): I've always heard things. It started when I was younger - whispers of something I couldn't see, couldn't understand. At first, it was just faint sounds, like voices drifting from another world. But by the time I was sixteen, those whispers turned into something more - echoes. Clear, distinct, and impossible to ignore. It's strange. Most people think the future is something that hasn't happened yet. But for me, it's not that simple. I hear the future. The thing is, the future I hear isn't mine. I've been hearing her - a girl I don't know, yet know everything about. Her life, her fears, her pain. I can't explain how, but I hear her voice every night, calling out for help. I don't know her name. I don't know her face. All I know is that something horrible is coming for her. And if I can't stop it... then her fate might echo into mine. Tonight, I hear her again. The echo sharpens, clearer than ever before. "Help me, Lila. It's happening. They're coming." The echo fades. And just like that, I'm left with a choice - follow the voice, or ignore it and risk the consequences. I don't know why it's me she's calling to, but I can't just do nothing. I owe it to her. And to myself.

She never meant to change anything. Thrown into the world of Harry Potter, she only wanted one thing - to survive, to blend in, to stay out of the story she already knew too well. But adapting was never going to be that simple. With every step she takes, every choice she makes, she begins to leave traces. Small at first, almost invisible. A conversation here, a moment there. Friendships form where they shouldn't. Rivalries spark where they were never meant to exist. And at the center of it all stands Draco Malfoy. Sharp, guarded, and impossible to read. Yet somehow, he keeps noticing her. What begins as tension laced with pride slowly unravels into something far more complicated. Something neither of them understands. Something that was never part of the original story. As bonds deepen and emotions tangle, she realizes the truth too late. She isn't just living in this world anymore... She's changing it. Through quiet moments of love, bitter rivalries, fragile friendships, and choices that come with consequences, she finds herself caught between who she was... and who this world is turning her into. Because sometimes, the greatest impact isn't made by heroes, but by the ones who were never meant to belong. And sometimes, the most dangerous thing of all... is to be loved in a story that was never supposed to be yours. Disclaimer: I do not claim any of the Harry Potter characters. This is just fanfiction that's inspired by the novels and the movies of Harry Potter, written by J.K. Rowling, mixed with my imagination.
