Stuck in at endless cycle of repeating days, continuous music and microwave meals, Emma finds herself bored and mentally absent most of the time, whether she is at home, at school, or going out with her lack of friends. She longs for something exciting to happen, something different or out of the ordinary, but the prospect of actually leaving and interacting with multiple people has her scampering back to the safety of her comic book filled room.
Change eventually comes barreling towards her in the form of a pretty girl with glowing eyes, and Emma has no choice but to embrace it as she is spun into a world hidden within her own. Facing a new life and a new self, it is up to her whether or not she will keep the change along with the risks hidden in the shadows, or go back to the safety of her daily cycle.
