Here's a story, of a girl. She wasn't what the other kids would say an "average girl". She was quiet. She always hid behind her backpack. She cried alone in the hallways. Nobody ever hung out with her, until one day. January 5, 2016, I stood up, and talked to the girl. She was actually nice, and sweet, but I knew something was wrong. I asked her if she was okay. She responded with a "I'm fine." and she smiled, but it didn't feel real. I told her "Okay, if you ever need anything, I'm here for you!" and I walked away. I felt bad for the girl. The whole night I kept wondering what she was depressed about; felt guilty for not standing up and saying "you're not fine." but oh well, I'll ask her again. The next day came, January 6, 2016. She seemed a bit more happier, but this time she was wearing long sleeves. I sat next to her that day. "Hello Delilah!" I said enthusiastically. She responded with a "Hello." Something seemed off. She looked happy, but didn't sound happy. Again I asked "What's wrong? And don't say you're fine, because I know you're not." she replied with "It's just, nobody likes me, they all call me names, and my parents are really rude, and stuff. It's nothing really important, thanks for asking." Later that day, her happy looking self, got in a fight with two guys. They beat her! She ran away crying. I screamed at them "ARE YOU REALLY THIS IGNORANT?!" and chased after her into the ladies restroom. She was in a stall crying. When she got out I hugged and her and she showed me her cuts. I immediately felt emptiness inside, almost like I did this. I told her it's going to be okay. Later that night, she thought she had enough. She cried the whole night and she couldn't do it anymore, she called me and luckily I helped talk her out of it. We became close friends, and she hung on for a long time (6 months exact). Then the night came. And she had enough, she took a gun, and shot her right temple. That's when it all went down hill for me. Hey there Delilah...
