Thirteen year old Kaitlyn lives in a special world called Astrial. When you become a teenager, you go through a series of tests to find out which school you're in. Once you graduate, you choose your "Beast." The animal is essentially you're spirit animal. It is like you in every way, your perfect match.

Kaitlyn has been dreaming of going to "The School Of The Beautiful" all her life, and she has the looks to prove it. She wants to be exactly like her adopted parents, stunning and powerful. She couldn't care less what her Beast will be, animals never seemed to like her anyway.

However, what will happen when her plans go wrong and she ends up in a completely different school?

And when danger arises, threatening her world as she knows it, will she be able to realize her true self in order to stop it?
