You have been wandering around Remnant with a dusty old Qrow for four years training your mind and body to achieve your goal.  That goal has kept you going even though you were put through hell.  Even though she took everything away from you.  After eight years you final get to achieve your goal when you find the person you are looking for.  Cinder Fall, she is attending a place called Beacon academy in disguised as a student.  You don't know what she is doing but you're bringing eight years of pain with you as you attend Beacon as well.

Remnant is made up of the 4 kingdoms, Vale, Mistral, Atlas and Vacuo, the hunter training academies, Beacon, Haven, Mantle and Shade, a continent where the Faunus originated called Menagerie, various villages in the country and the dark areas where the Grimm are said to appear from. Humans and Faunus all have a force apart of their soul they unlock known as Aura, which protects them like a shield but can discharge depending on the strength used in battle. They also use superpower-like abilities known as Semblance as well as powerful handmade weapons in all shapes and sizes. It's impossible for people to have the exact same Semblance, unless it runs in the family. The story revolves around a team of 4 huntresses in training. Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiou Long. Alongside their friends, they train to fight and learn how to protect Remnant, and soon learn of its history and a millennia long conflict between Ozpin, Beacon's headmaster, and Salem, a humanoid Grimm queen residing in the dark.

After two days Reader wakes up and see everything fell apart, his mission is to find his family and friends and team up with Adam. Later, find them and learn the truth and join them but not into the human hybrid, but special armor. (New Sith Troopers) and new weapon. Together all of them join forces to defeat Ozpin once and for all. When Ozpin was still Ozma, he want to conquer the world, and crush those that oppose him. Salem (before turning to Grimm) didn't agree to him and want to stop him. She tried to defeat him but failed, and the world went down to history to now. Since then she tries everything to bring hope into the world. Adam is childhood friend; Neo is the same. Beacon is Ozpin trying to make an army of huntsmen and huntresses that obey him. Teachers and Professors are involved. Ozpin doesn't care for the lives of students due to them being expandable.
