I always knew that one day I would be back. Life isn't easy, with Kess's mum using whatever means available to get Kess back and being unable to leave the region. But why does her mother want her back so badly? Has Rina told her the real reason they fled Litheus? And more importantly, what happened to the best friend that tried to escape with her? With the arrival of the mysterious Reegan, feelings that Kess hasn't felt in years arise, bringing a new bout of danger that could result in her confronting the very thing she unknowingly ran from.
