Kairan is trying to get through his senior year of high school without attracting too much attention. It's a bit difficult because of who his parents are, but he manages to make do. Most of the people who try talking to him are only interested in his money, and the others are intimidated by it, so he doesn't exactly have friends, which he may or may not be okay with.
He goes to school, gets good grades, and comes back to an empty home. Well, empty until Xaneil shows up.

Xaneil is a high-ranking demon who finally gets the opportunity to leave hell and possess a human, like every demon hopes to some day do. But instead of possessing someone like originally intended, he becomes friends with the human. He's completely fine with this turn of events because he can still do most of the things he would have done in human body, but now he can also talk to someone who knows what he is.

Even though neither of them will admit it, they both actually enjoy each others company. Although, their relationship may be tested with the many obstacles they have ahead of them.
