Emmadelle has a problem.
She's invisible.
No, she's not a ghost.
Not a magical being.
And, no, she is not cursed.
I guess you could say she's more of a chameleon, than invisible. She blends in. So much so that literally no one really knows she exists. Except for maybe her mom, a teacher too kind for her own good, a dog too dumb for his own good... and lastly..
A boy.
Who seems to know just what buttons to push to get her out of her shell and doing things she never thought she would have the guts to do.

Reaching a hand out towards me, he smiles kindly and says, "hi.. I'm Noah Cayd." And then I say the most dumb thing I can think of.

She was cold to the touch. Draped out on the lawn under a sky full of stars, shivers wracking her petite frame. "What the Hell are you doing out here, Bird?"
