We all know that Mitchell gets mercy-killed by his best friend, George, and George dies from failed transformation. But let's pretend they didn't. Let's pretend that Mitchell is still around, still guilty with all his killings and still trying to keep his control over his bloodlust. George is still having painful transformations. Annie is still hanging out with them both and more and more confident with going outside her house. Having heard that there were some of Mitchell's ex-coven in Australia, the trio fly over to investigate what they are doing in Australia. But after being separated from the other two somehow, the young, Irish vampire then meets a young girl that he can relate to and sympathises with. Because of how much they relate to each other, the two become lovers at first sight. Around her, Mitchell feels controlled and relaxed, something he hasn't felt in a very long time. He also finds out something about her that only her parents and her have picked up on. But will he do her a favour that she asks for? Will he also be able to protect her from his ex-coven? _____________________________________________________________________________________ The title was inspired by a Rasmus song called October and April. The song originally is about the love between the two singers (I think, I've tried looking it up) but in this case it's about the love that Mitchell and Winter have had in the past, how they kinda knew that the relationship was going to die out (no pun intended, Mitchell)
