When Lila's parents died in a car crash she never thought she would find a place were she would fit in. She and her brother had gone from foster home to foster home each time not staying very long, so her expectations weren't very high when she moved to Stowe, a small town with an even smaller population. She began to see the happiness in every day again and started to think about her parents even more and the lessons they still teach her. She finds herself slowly making friends with a outgoing and popular group. She begins to deal with the problems of an average teenage girl again and her love for her new life seems to grow everyday.
