This is a retelling of my least favorite arc in, "Sword Art Online," which is the, "Fairy Dance Arc." I am going to attempt writing my own version of the story that is much darker and focuses on things that the original arc didn't focus on. The story follows Kirito, after he wakes up from beating, "Sword Art Online." He learns that Asuna didn't wake up with him and he now struggles to find a reason to keep trying to live his life. Once he learns that Asuna is still alive in a different game, he must find the motivation to become the player that he once was in, "Sword Art Online," in order to save her from a threat unlike anything he has faced, before. I hope you all enjoy and as always, thank you very much for reading! I do not own any of the characters, locations and plot points of, "Sword Art Online." Characters, locations and plot points of, "Sword Art Online," were created and are trademarked by, Reki Kawahara. This story is just a fan fiction! I do not own any of the music that is in this fan fiction; all music that is in this fan fiction belongs to and is trademarked by the musicians of the music that is in this fan fiction. The cover art for, "The Black Swordsman," was done by chipencil! Special thanks to chipencil for the cover art of, The Black Swordsman!"
