A detective tries to find a killer who is cutting a bloody hole into the heart of his city, leaving bodies in his wake and a virulent fear infecting the entire population. The detective stumbles onto the body of his sister, discarded in the street, like a broken toy. his world is crumbling around him and time is running out. Something big is brewing, a metaphorical storm hanging dark and dangerous over the city. The cloud is threatening to smother the world, changing life forever. ***** Out in the waste lands, outside of the great city walls, the cults are growing. Drawn closer together by the emergence of a new, enigmatic leader. He can hear the voice of God, and he knows his divine purpose. The great walls, the tools of his people's separation, must come crashing down. First these walls, and then the walls of each of the great cities. Only then, when his holy mission is complete, will his merciful God return to the people of the world to forgive the abandonment of his word. ***** I HAVE PUBLISHED SOME PARTS OF THIS STORY.
