In a castle high on top of a hill lives an inventor's greatest creation - Edward, a near-complete person. The creator died before he could finish Edward's hands; instead, he is left with metal scissors for hands. Since then, he has lived alone, until a kind lady called Peg discovers him and welcomes him into her home. At first, everyone welcomes him into the community, but soon things begin to take a change for the worse.

according to https://timburton.fandom.com/wiki/Edward Edward's age is unknown so I'm going to make him only a few years older than my OC Adrastéa "Adra" Ivylisse Monroe the unwanted daughter of Joyce Monroe well she's unwanted BY Joyce who has used her to gain attention from other men ever since she was just a child but loved by her father George who is never home and is either at work or "out with the guys" so Adra has to deal with her $3x-crazed mother by herself on the days Adra wanted to get away from her overbearingly annoying mother she would head up to the lone dark seemingly depressing mansion that has a magnificently gorgeous garden for no one ever went up there on top of that large mountain of a hill where the mansion lay she would always bring a book with her and sit in the bush that was sculpted to look like a hand and read out loud surprisingly enough her favorite book is Alice's Adventures in Wonderland which is a novel by Lewis Carroll she's been going to the garden ever since she was 10 one day her mother drives her up to the mansion and throws her out of the car then when she gets back home she tells everyone that her daughter had run away from home after her mother leaves Adra ends up being taken inside the mansion by her ever watchful shadow and lives with him till Peg comes a callin and Peg decides to take them both down to the village Adra only goes because her shadow a man named Edward wanted her to go with him for he wanted to see the town but knew she never wanted to return to it during her time inside the mansion this is the story of how they met and what happens when she goes back home and tells everyone that Edward is her boyfriend which of course makes her $3x-deprived mom jealous and upset
