On a quest to get his brother back, Ragnohl travels with Abyss and Xualzah to get as far away from his father's reach as possible. Knowing Maverick could read his every thought, Ragnohl struggles to keep his plans secret, yet naturally, that's not the only thing he has to be concerned about.
Maverick has his own agenda and he will not allow his troublesome son to interfere.
With Ragnohl compromised, Abyss resolves to take it upon herself to get Elijah back. Realising that the three of them alone are weak in the face of Maverick, she seeks help from unlikely allies. Though she has no problems with working alongside humans, how hard will it be to persuade Ragnohl and Xualzah to do the same? Especially when these particular humans are more narcissistic, snarky and possibly even stronger than the Beastans.
**This book follows up events from Twisted Retribution, so if you haven't read that one, Shattered Blades will probably be hard to follow. Unlike Twisted Ret when i started uploading, I'm still writing this one so i won't be able to update as often as I did, but I promise I'll upload chapters as soon as I've finished them .
