Kitamura Rui has heard the rumors. Everyone has. The mysterious ward that borders on the edge of one's thoughts, ever-present, deliciously strange and forbidden like the fruit of legend. When Kaori goes missing, Rui scrambles to pick up the pieces and follow her mentor's trail, even if it leads her back to the Closed Ward - even if it endangers her life.
