Nadie Lee was always the odd one out, so finding out about her magical abilities was less surprising and more comforting for her. Nadie began to make friends and find her place at Ilvermorny, the American wizarding school. However, darkness hides in the wonderful world Nadie has just discovered. And somehow, she ends up right in the middle of it.

This is a Harry Potter fanfiction that takes place at the newly revealed North American wizarding school: Ilvermorny. The first section is the concept, and after that is the story. Your input would be greatly appreciated.
I am aware that the possible names of the Ilvermorny houses have been leaked. I began writing this story before then, so there are different houses. I may change it, and I may not, according to what details of the new houses are revealed.
Nadie Lee shares many characteristics with me, although we are not the same person. So, she is not based on Hermione.

[PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 18] "You're kind of like a Safe Haven, you know?" "How long have you been waiting to make that pun?" "You have no idea" Haven Goldspear, an orphan of the War like so many others, was left alone. Both parents killed in the two Wizarding Wars, no direct family she still had contact with, and the fellow Hufflepuffs who could barely be called 'friends'; she was utterly alone in the world. Her coping techniques would probably be discouraged if she went to a therapist but those small acts of her exploding anger were the only things that could keep her going. That, and the newfound friendship she made at Hogwarts when she returned, along with most of the others from her year, as eighth-year students. Harry was grateful for the support the Weasleys had given him over the months but they didn't understand. Their situations were completely different even though they went through the same trauma. Everything angered Harry, he felt alone - weird considering how packed The Burrow was - and the fact that Ron and Hermione sneaked off to Ron's room at least once a day did not help. Maybe Haven's coping techniques weren't therapist-recommended and rarely safe, but it helped them to release all their anger and frustrations. Not only on glassware and walls, but on each other. "'It all started on a cold Saturday morning, not too long after everyone had returned from winter holiday...'" Not all adventures at Hogwarts are as well-known as Harry Potter's was. Some tales will only be known by those who, whether fortunate or unfortunate, found themselves tangled in magic history in the making. Other stories are only carried in the hearts of those who graduate from those hallowed halls of learning, cherished and never forgotten. This is one of those stories... Before Albus Potter received his Hogwarts letter, Alexis Powers and Elinor Scott roamed the school grounds, dealing with schoolwork, hanging out with friends, and trying to figure out what career to pursue after graduation. But what might be normal at a muggle school breeds mystery at Hogwarts. It's not long until riddles, curses, and keys are thrown into the mix, and suddenly, Alex and Elinor have more on their minds than the next prefect patrol. Not to mention a strange journal and prophecy that might be more relevant than they think. Will Professor Potter come to their rescue? Is there something foreboding ahead for the Wizarding World? Is there ever just peace and quiet at Hogwarts? Alexis and Elinor just might find out, with the help of their friends and some familiar faces. *Note: This short story is a fanfiction of a fanfiction, so it is based on the second generation Wizarding World established by @Smile_its_Elli in "The Star of Gryffindor" series, not necessarily HP canon.
