"You were you,
and I was I;
we were two
before our time.

I was yours
before I knew,
and you have always
been mine too."
― Lang Leav, Love & Misadventure

When you really love someone, you would do anything for them.

Cordelia Jensen (Cory) was just a simple, chubby, 17-year-old girl struggling to survive her life as a teenager. She was bullied almost all her highschool life in her previous school due to the actions of her cousin. And while that happened, she had her safe heaven - No face - where she could turn to whenever her bullies did the bullying too hard. No face was a random singer she found in SoundCloud where he posts his own songs. The moment she heard his music, she fell in love with both his melodies and with the boy who sang them. Although she didn't know who he exactly was, she fell in love with him anyway. She figured it was already enough for her to just hear his voice but it was not until she had to move half across the country because of her father's promotion that she met her hero, the person who kept her from giving up. It was No face aka AH103 aka Adam Hart.

But just like in some stories, no one is always the hero and no one is always the victim. In this story, they are both to each other.

Loading Game... Building Sceneries... Creating- romance? Parallel. It's a common word. You can probably hear your math teacher screaming that word in a kid's face, can't you? However, that won't be the case here. This is about parallel worlds. For Meredith and Lukas, they didn't find that out so quickly. Bullied and shunned for being the daughter of two famous and quite elite people, the students in Meredith Tanner's high school drove her off the cliff, resulting in therapy sessions once a week. Lukas James was in a different situation. He dropped out of high school (which disappointed his parents) and became a YouTuber, live-streaming games of generation A to Z. The two depressive teenagers didn't expect anything to change. She would continue therapy and never recover from the bullying and screeching suicidal thoughts, remaining as her high school's social outcast. He would continue to disappoint his parents by streaming on YouTube for attention instead of getting an education like his sisters. That's until a game changed their lives. "Parallel". The game was released, becoming #1 on the top gaming charts, which fancied both the teens' interests. Lukas was requested to play this game upon his subscribers. Meredith was requested to play this game in hopes of raising her socialization. However, something behind the game was unlike any level to pass- something dangerous. One game. That's what destiny was betting on. Two individuals. That's what destiny pitched in on. One unfortunate love story. That's what destiny never calculated. ~~~ "Love is a game, Lukas. You're barely making it past Level One! This isn't a labyrinth, stupid. It's a straight hall with different doors, and you keep opening those doors and refuse to walk forward." "I refuse to walk forward..." I repeated in a murmur, hanging my head low. She's right. I keep telling myself I can't go there; it's off limits. But I can see the end of the hall.

With a drug lord for a father and an addict for a mother, Jade Taylor has been dealt a pretty shabby hand in life. Her childhood was spent in a constant state of fear, her only solace being her two half-sisters, Charlotte and Bailey, who were forced to live the nightmare alongside her. Her father finally got caught when she was seven and for a fleeting, white-hot second, it seemed that things were going to be okay. She should've known better. She should've known that her mother would jump ship, choose the drugs and not the daughter. Suddenly left abandoned, navigating the murky waters of life in care, it took a little while longer for Jade to find her place in the world. Now, finally, she has. At the age of eighteen, Jade is counting down the days before her exams are over, excited to spend the summer with her two best friends and boyfriend. Unfortunately, things don't always go according to plan... not in a town like Greencliff. Upon meeting the Coleman's - a family that fits so perfectly into the 'gang' culture she so desperately wants to avoid - Jade finds herself teetering on the edge of a blade, carefully balanced between the life she wants and the life she wants to escape. The question is... which way will she fall? (This description is a work in progress and may be subject to change!)
