She always felt bitter, but she never hated her sister for it. But when her sister moved into the royal palace and later married she never contacted her again. She felt betrayed and was very angry with her. But what she did not know was that her sister made a deal with the second prince that she would move into the palace to live with him and marry him when she came of age he would then send her sister an awakening pill. But what her sister did not know then was that the awakening pill would never reach her sister and that her husband would never allow her to see her sister again. Until one day when her husband used her sister and uncle as scapegoats. Seeing her beloved uncle being killed and her sister being next. She ran over and blocked the blow for her sister. Seeing this Zan Cui picked her up and ran away with her into the forest behind the royal palace. But they were never able to escape, so Zan Cui, picked up a treasure that she found. That would grant 1 wish for a price, she used it hoping that it would send them back before everything started.

Acacia, a beautiful girl with a scarred face, her parents named her Acacia, which means abandoned. The wasteland is the place where every person who was "DEFECTIVE" was placed. Acacia was a beautiful girl who was inquisitive, she was always looking for an adventure or occasionally looking for a little trouble. She was 17 with beautiful long locks of silk chestnut colored hair and bronzed skin but a small scar on her left eye. One problem was that Acacia was a female and her birthday was 2 months away. The law of the wasteland is that all females must be wed at the age 18. Acacia loves no one other than her adoptive father because in the wasteland most people don't love at all and think of themselves to be a curse. When she said a few magic words, it took her to a whole different world that she never heard of there she meets five people, Alec, Alex, Adreanna, Denver, and Tamaki and there they will help her get back home to where she really belonged to do that they had to go through many challenges like the dark blackthorn forest, cities, villages and towns, magical creatures, curses, spells, bandits, thieves, selfish humans, and overall the truth of what that necklace she had really was. Will she get home, or will she be stuck in this world forever?
