Sarina is a teenage girl who isn't aware of what she is capable of. Her mother died when she was very young, leaving her with her father. When her father remarried she became an older sister to a baby boy named Liam.

While growing up she realizes that her brother had some anger issues. One day he did something so terrible that caused them to switch schools. When she becomes a Beacon Hills High School student she soon discovers she isn't the only supernatural being.
