There was fire in her eyes as she looked upon her parents. She couldn't let go of the past. She lived her life pretending to be happy and greatful for everything but in all honesty she hated every little detail. Tears started to fall from her beautiful blue eyes. Her standing in front of her parents made her feel like she was a little kid again. She was disappointed in herself for walking into this house this time with a child on her hip and a big smile on her face as she took her husbands hand. He looked at her eyes and saw the fire then he saw the dried tear stain on her rosy cheeks.
Emma went through a lot when she was a child but that is nothing to what she has in store for her future. The story starts a long way down the road. A 17 year old who has no idea her life is about to change.

I've got some problems at home and my sisters pretty dependent on me, but what can I do, other than take it all in my stride? But I'm just me, with some added attitude. So why did the new hot teacher come for me? I'm Scott Myer, just out of uni and got a brand new job. Hopefully this job will keep me straight headed so I can have back the only thing I want from back home. I've started today and already I'm falling back into my old ways, hopefully teaching in the new school can keep me on track for once... So why when I see my tutor class for morning registration, do I see one girl, that I can't seem to get out of my head? And why do I keep coming for her? This is my first book so you might see a few mistakes, but I do try to go over my work as best as possible. 'You didn't answer my question,' he asked, holding her gaze in his hypnotic ones. 'Wh... what question?' She was surprised at her own voice, it sounded like of someone else's. She wanted to ask him--which question, there were so many he had asked her tonight. Each one threatening in their own different ways to her sanity. Brandan smiled mysteriously. Not answering her, he instead said something else, 'Don't keep staring at me like that.' His voice was soft. Suddenly, she found herself in some other world. 'W.. why?' She stammered ridiculously. His lips slightly brushed against her, she closed her eyes in anticipation, under the spell of their lips connecting. Sparking were the electricity all over her skin. ''Cause....' He took a step back from her, leaving her cold and she was too lost to do something about it--like leaping closer to him and getting engulfed in the euphoric warmth once again. ''Cause, you will fall in love with me... ' He paused as growling deeply a set of thunders boomed above the skies. Cold wind made her hair dance around. He finally finished his sentence, 'Again.' Rain poured down upon her heavily as if the entire sky was about to break down over her, She opened her eyes against the cold water to see he had lef alreadyt, leaving her to drown into his words, completely. *** They say love's blind. Maybe that's why Emma loved Brandan despite all odds, more than she loved herself but only to find that it wasn't enough. When time and fate decided to be cruel to the utmost, she found herself broken in all the ways possible. I shut my locker and started making my way towards my next class . I was already late and the hallway was almost empty . I picked up my pace . Suddenly a loud thump came from behind me and an immense crushing pain seared through my back . I was slammed in the lockers . I closed my eyes from the sudden contact and pain . Opening my eyes I groaned . The breathe left me all at once . He was the one who pushed . His eyes held so many emotions . anger , hatred and betrayal . It pained me to see that I was the cause of them . Suddenly his fist came flying with full force towards my face and my eyes widened at the thought that he was going to hit me . I closed my eyes waiting for the impact but instead of breaking my face he punched the locker inches away from my face putting a dent on it . He smirked at me . All the colors drained from my face .
