Audrey Mitchell is half werewolf half human. She has been moving town to town with her father for the past eight years, ever since she was ten.
When she moved from the small little town outside Dallas Texas, to the town of Palatka Florida, she didn't think anything would change. She and her father would go to a new pack, he would train the upcoming alphas, and check to see if everything was going well. Meaning take notes and help better the pack.
Then they would leave after a year or so to the next pack. Simple right?
Well maybe not. Audrey has had nightmares since she was nine. I don't mean nightmares like some big bad monster is chasing her. Even though that can be the case at times. I mean someone (a man) the same man, tries (and succeeds) to kill her almost every night.
What's different when she moves this time doesn't have anything to do with her nightmares, none whatsoever. No, the change in this move comes in the form of a different guy. But wait! It gets better! He turns out to be next in line alpha. And better yet! He's also her mate.
This sarcastic eighteen year old spits fire (in the form of words) and doesn't put up with anything. But underneath that hard exterior is a girl who's afraid of her own dreams and the threat they cause her.
