Valerie Coraline thought her family trip to the Grand Canyon would be one of those lame, singing while stuck in the car family road trips; man was she wrong. Before she knows it, Valerie and her family are stranded on the side of a bridge with no way to call for help. Unless Valerie does what the Preeminence tells her to do, there is no way to save her family, or the universe, from his maniacal plans to take over the cosmos. Through the course of her adventures, Valerie makes enemies, meets new friends, and uncovers secrets about herself that could save her family. But can she save them in time or will it all be in vain?

"I was lost in the world, and I couldn't find my way back. I felt like I was on a completely different planet. I felt like I was on Mars, like Mark Watney from the book 'The Martian'. I felt entirely alone." *** Coraline Waters lives your average, cliché life. She doesn't have many friends, she blames herself for her mother leaving when she was 5, and she feels alone. After having to leave the only home she's ever known, Coral doesn't think her life can get any worse. But, she is wrong. After finding out an interesting part of her heritage she realizes how mysterious the world really is, and how bad it would be if people found out about her. Join Coral as she ventures out into the world, and discovers many secrets about herself, and the world around her. *** NOTE: I'm sorry if there are any grammar mistakes and plot holes in the story.
