Fate leads those who are willing but must push those who are not.

One might interpret this saying a bit too literal. After all, Elena did end up on the bottom of a hill in the middle of a forest, suffering several injuries. But do not worry, fate loves a rebel and has something magical stored for our sarcastic heroine.

Time travel.

An adventure in the 16th century was not something our main character had in mind, but when her path is built with music and joy, it can't be that bad, right?

Oh, who am I kidding. . .

At first glance, it seemed to be the perfect fairytale for our main character; being able to experience the medieval time and be surrounded by enchantment wherever she went. She even meets a monk, blessed with the gift of music, who shares her passion and is willing to teach Elena the secrets of the piano. It's perfect.

But it was only the tip of the iceberg.

Elena's piece of tranquility is broken when she stumbles into another mess, leaving her caged and alone in the forest. Fortunately for our heroine, a prince crosses her path, helping her in her need.

One might see this as the Universe's way for entertainment, or the fate's bizarre tactics to bring people together. Whatever it might be, it did not stop Elena from catching the eye of the prince of a powerful kingdom. Before anyone knows what's even happening, they're caught in the middle of it all; like a cat trapped in a yarn.

After all, even the stone you trip on is a part of your destiny.

What happens when the Universe, and basically everything between hell and heaven, is against you? Simple: it's a journey filled with unforgettable events.

So buckle up, folks, because you are in for a ride of pirates, songs, chases, jokes,

and a broken soul.

After all, there is no flying from fate.

On a summer trip to Barcelona, two children-Matt and Elena-meet by chance in a McDonald's, under the glow of a midnight moon. Both are bored, their parents still in line ordering food, when their eyes meet across the crowded restaurant. Without speaking, they start to play, laughing and running around the tables as if they'd known each other forever. Their connection is instant, pure, and magical, as only childhood friendships can be. By the time the clock strikes midnight, the two have become inseparable. As it turns out, their families are staying at the same hotel and taking the same sightseeing tours for the next two weeks. This leads to a string of shared adventures-exploring the streets of Barcelona, eating ice cream in the park, and getting lost in the city's magic. Every day brings a new memory, every night a promise of tomorrow. But all good things must end, and as the trip comes to a close, so too must their time together. Matt is returning to London, and Elena is flying back to the Philippines. As they say their tearful goodbyes, they make a solemn promise: when they are adults, they will meet again in the same McDonald's in Barcelona. That night, before leaving, Elena leans in and whispers, "Give me a kiss, so you won't forget me." Over the years, Matt and Elena keep in touch through letters, sharing stories of their lives. But one day, Elena's letters stop coming. Matt writes, and waits, but hears nothing. Years pass, but he never forgets her, or their promise. The story is about time, distance, and the enduring power of a childhood promise. As Matt grows older, his life moves on, but the memory of Elena, the girl from McDonald's under the Barcelona moon, remains vivid. The story ends with him preparing to return to Barcelona as an adult, hoping to see her again, wondering if Elena has kept the promise they made so long ago. Will they meet again, and if they do, how much will have changed? (Story inspired by Crash Adams song Give Me A Kiss)

This book is for those who love slow-burn, chaotic, "how can they be that stupid," "about bloody time," wrench-your-heart-but-make-you-feel-so-good romances. Because what's life without a bit of drama, right? Throw in epic chaos, a princess on the run, and some evil bad guys (because every story needs a villain), and you've got a book that will keep you knee-deep in drama. If you've come here looking for your traditional synopsis, read on, my lovely readers. And if what you really crave is a mix of whump, smut, and rom-com with a side of catastrophe, then look no further-I've got you covered. __________________________________________________________________________ Proper Synopsis When a devastating attack reduces her home to ruins, Princess Sera's only option is to flee. Seeking refuge on Earth, she meets Matthew, the cocky, confident leader of the Allegiant Academy. Little does she know that the man she's starting to fall for is the same person who wields immense power-the one she dubbed 'Ace' and has been her bitter enemy since childhood. But hey, that's not exactly first-date material, is it? Nobody kicks it off with, "Oh, by the way, I have an alter ego who's a fiend-fighting, blood-killer type that hunts savages for sport." Right? As Sera tries to keep her princess status and crystal warrior identity under wraps, she throws herself into becoming someone else. After growing up in war, happiness doesn't just return-it sneaks up on you, like plants pushing through cracked concrete. But when her past comes knocking, threatening to undo everything she's painstakingly rebuilt, she'll quickly learn that truth has impeccable timing-and her destiny has the absolute worst habit of showing up when she least expects it. But seriously, what did she expect? When it comes to life, destiny, and fate, it's never really in our hands, is it? _______________________________________________________________________________
