Aurielle Baumgardner’s life takes a huge turn- the father that left both Aurielle and her mother years ago decides to pop back into her life- and he wants full custody. Aurielle is forced to spend her summer with her father + 1 ½ (his newly married, pregnant wife) in Southampton. 
	And everything is what she expects it to be- her emotional step-mom pulls the ‘think-of-me-as-your-real-mommy’ move everyday, her dad is awkward, and Southampton is a town filled with snobby, rich kids from Manhattan’s Upper East Side. 
	But when her summer in the Hamptons comes to a close, Aurielle doesn’t expect that what she expected, is the exact reason she doesn’t want to leave.
