"Will you work with me in a civil manner?"

"I'm sorry, what?"

"Just answer the question, Grey."

"I just told you I want to win this too. I don't have a choice, do I?" I mumbled irritably.

"Good, because we are going to be the best."

'Fleur Cup'; a month long competition wherein one needs to find the maximum number of different colored flowers.

Arabella Colours wants to carry on the legacy of her house by winning the
'Fleur Cup', which isn't exactly a cakewalk, especially since you've a partner known to be a recluse.

Braydon Grey had better things to do than just participate in a stupid flower-finding competition, but then, this could be his only chance to go to Yale.

So when the two have absolutely no choice but helping each other, they both know that it isn't going to be easy. Especially if you have annoying contenders and a series of drama surrounding your personal life, but maybe they don't have to face all the challenges alone.

After all, they are partners, right?

Maybe the quirky girl was not so bad for the dull guy, after all.

This is my first book, and therefore I request all of you to bare with me, and my writing as it still needs a lot of improvement.

All's fair in love and babysitting. • • • Shailene Avery is hated by one person, and one person only: Brayden Ferguson Fields. Saturated in sarcasm and edgy teenage angst, Brayden is the one person Shailene cannot understand, like, or even pretend to get along with. And no matter how nice she is to him at their frequent neighbourly get-togethers, or as they stand awkwardly at the bus stop in the mornings, or during the countless nights of having to babysit their younger siblings together ("because double date night" is the lacklustre reason given by her parents), she still cannot get through to him. Because he hates her. And that is that. Brayden Fields has 99 problems, and his pain-in-the-ass neighbour is one of them. Shailene Rose Avery is loved by everyone for reasons Brayden can't even try to understand. Her incessant chattering and fruitless attempts at friendship give him a migraine, and he only ever talks to her when he absolutely has to. Honestly, if he had to choose between being poisoned by anthrax or spending an entire day with her - well, let's just say he'd have a hard time deciding. They avoid each other as much as possible, because - let's be honest - it's better that way. But what happens when they don't get a say? What happens when fate decides to throw them together over and over again? "What are you doing here?" I ask but it comes out as a sob. I don't want him, or anyone for that matter, to see me like this. I'm a wreck. Wyatt doesn't seem to mind though. He softly brushes the remaining tears from my face with his thumb. "I saw you run out of the canteen, green eyes. I couldn't just leave you here to cry because that would go against the tutor code." "Tutor code?" I ask, puzzled. "Yes, the tutor code. It states that a student must make sure his tutor is never upset or crying and if he does ever find her like this it's his job to make her smile at any cost," he tells me. "You just made that up." "Maybe I did but that doesn't matter. Come on," he says, extending his hand out to me. "Where are we going?" "You'll see." ~*~*~ Aurora is a normal seventeen year old, happy and content with life. However, this all changes the day her boyfriend of two years, James, breaks up with her. Naturally, she's crushed. The icing on the cake is why he did it. Apparently she's 'too boring'. Determined to prove him wrong, she strikes a deal with the school's notorious bad boy, Wyatt King. She'll tutor him in maths if he teaches her to be reckless, fearless and careless. Can Aurora overcome the odds and do what she planned? Or perhaps someone will stop her on her mission to win over James. Maybe this isn't as easy as she thought it would be. Maybe she takes things a little too far. And just maybe making a deal with the bad boy isn't such a smart idea. ~*~*~ *contains mature language* #9 in high school 20/02/19 #1 in young love 14/03/19 #2 in chicklit 27/03/19 #1 in heartbreak 08/04/19 #21 in teenfiction 26/08/20 #10 in romance 26/08/20 #1 in bad boy 02/04/21

"I walked over to where Aaron was sitting on the ground, kneeling so that I was face-to-face with him. He was wearing a blank expression on his face so I guess he didn't really care if I kissed him or not. I took in a deep breath before taking his face in both of my hands and swooping down to kiss him. At first, I was so nervous I didn't realize that we were already kissing but after a few moments, I realized how soft his lips felt on my own. Before I can register it I felt him moving against me. I would have gotten off of him but I realize that he wasn't moving to get away from me. No, He was moving his lips against mine." °°°°° Aiden Moore isn't extraordinary. He has average looks, he is OK with sports, and his only strong point is that he is smart (although that doesn't mean much to his fellow classmates). And, of course, his virgin ass has never had a girlfriend, let alone a crush. It seemed as if he would never find someone. That was until he met her, Scarlett Hale. She was the most beautiful girl you will ever meet. Kind, sweet, and one of the few people with a higher GPA then him, she was amazing and Aiden imagined that she would be all his. Once Aiden gets rid of her boyfriend, Aaron Tyler. The most annoying guy you will ever meet, Aiden gags just thinking about him. The man is smoking hot and makes Aiden's dreams of getting the girl to seem very impossible. So what would happen if Aiden gets involved with the wrong person? Will Aiden get the girl? Will he fall short? Or will he fall into the arms of a guy who is in love with the girl he loves? _______________________________________ WARNING: First book EVER! The best part about this book is that it has some funny bits and introduces you to characters I use for a while. "What are you doing?" He glances up at me through his glasses, his bored tone sending a jolt through me as I straddle his lap. I know he's a god at this 'poker face' game, but he needs to realise that his body always tells a different story like how hard he's gripping my thigh right now and how hard he is beneath me. Yet, I can't ignore the power he exudes. There's this strange, dominating energy about him that makes me feel small as if I am a rat being cowered back into a hole. And for Reina Gavril to feel that way? I hate it. I hate him. 𓍼 𝗛𝗘 isn't your typical 'good boy.' He's a quiet, aloof presence yes, but also with a lethal charm and a mind nobody can quite read. He thrives in his solitude, refusing to take anyone's shit because being good doesn't necessarily mean being weak, timid, or a pushover. 𝒷𝓊𝓉 . . . 𝗦𝗛𝗘 is also not just any girl. She is an icon, she's the legend and she is the 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵. The 'queen bee' of Schola Stellae, she has it all - flawless looks, charisma, top grades, and a touch of mischief that gets her whatever she wants. She thrives in the spotlight, a party girl; quite the opp of him. Yet beneath that confident exterior is a heart; after all, queen bees rule for a reason, they know when to sting and when to play nice. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 is until he rejected one of her rival, prompting her friends to challenge her into making him hers. Tough situation, yes. Summing this up, bad girl with a soft side meets a good boy with a strong twist. And as she sets out on her mission, their opposing worlds clash, creating inevitable rivalry, tensions, heartbreaks and some wildly UNHOLY lessons that might make them go back and forth.
