The banging continued and I stepped out of the bathroom. "Stay here Evan, don't move, lock the door and don't let anyone come in but me." I went to my room looking for my staff, I heard a crack from the front door. I quickly looked for my S.H.I.E.L.D protocol staff, mom smuggled it for me when Fury wanted on my first ever mission at the age of 16. Mom dropped out of S.H.I.E.L.D, taking me with her, we vanished from any files at S.H.I.E.L.D, my mom later got married to Chase Houston and changed my name to keep my- our cover, they later had Evan, my little genius brother.

This is the story of Ace. She was born into HYDRA with no choice but to listen to what she was taught. Her mother had been an actual SHIELD agent once upon a time, before she ended up with Aces father, a HYDRA scientist undercover at SHIELD. Eventually Ace was born, and Kara Athena Riley was born. Ace's mother had homeschooled Ace, while her father had worked downstairs on HYDRA experiments and tech until her mom got sick. Ace was the one who took care of her and when her mother died Ace became one of her father's experiments. She lived that way for 4 years, where she was tortured, experimented on, and trained to be an assassin, a soldier of HYDRA. She endured until Thanos snapped away half the population, including most of the people working for her father, when the snap left a quantum device unintended, it killed everyone inside except Ace, giving her powers and problems along with the ones her father had given her. So the story basicly is gonna follow Aces life with Tony stark who will eventually adopt her this is my first story completely solo I have no refrances so guide the timeline it took me and this character is my child so be patient and feel free to correct me on stuff.

Disclaimer: i wrote this back in high school when i was highly mentally unstable, pulling all nighters, and over exerting myself in all sorts of ways. For you theater kids out there, I wrote a good portion of this during tech week. At no point in this story did i know what was going to happen next. There are plot holes, weird turns in the story, its a little cringy sometimes, and partway into it someone started pressuring me to follow a certain character. Looking back there are some moments that i really love, but if you are looking for a story that makes a lot of sense and has a strong story you are in the wrong place. A young child is used to settle a debt. Many deemed her defective due to her inability to speak. But she didn't need to talk to get her job done. The two were separated not long after meeting, but the green-eyed girl left a distinctive impression. And the defective girl couldn't help but think about her when feeling particularly lonely. She thought of looking for her again after she could traverse the criminal underworld alone. But it was strange. Blue wasn't an ordinary hair color, and green eyes were surprisingly rare, too. She couldn't find her. But while she couldn't find the girl, those distinctions did ensure she never forgot her. That was at least comforting. Imagine her surprise when the world is thrust into chaos and a woman with the same eyes as that girl from her past catches her eye. She reminds her of that old missing comfort. The woman inspires her to use her training for good and to fight to protect the world alongside other heroes.
