I've seen the same man die over a thousand times. I've memorized the exact time, and the exact way he dies. There hadn't been a single moment where I wanted to give up, where I decided to just quit. Regardless of how many times I failed, I found him in unparalleled ways. The phenomenon I called Time Hopping all began when Finn Reed died.
______________________________________________________________________________
Melanie Abner has to watch her best friend Finn Reed die countless times in an attempt to save him with her new found ability of Time Hopping. She meets Atticus, another Time Hopper who explains to her everything about her ability, and the truth behind Melanie's past. As convincing as Atticus sounds, Melanie can't seem to accept certainty of Finn's death. As time seems to pass by however, she realizes that sometimes it's best to accept the things you cannot change, and move forward with the things you can.

(DISCLAIMER: This is the first book I've written, so it's somewhat of a practice. Either way, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it!)

She's just gotten sort of bored with it, always feeling like there's something else she needs... Until she meets... Noah. She never expected to meet someone like him much less feel the sparks that ignite as soon as they meet eyes.... Can she just ignore feelings like that? Feelings she never felt before, not even from her own boyfriend. Noah won't be able to resist though, he has to do something about it... about her. Will she give in to the feelings taking over her? ---------- Excerpt: "Oh, you've been picturing me naked have you?" She asked sort of becoming amused now. Shit do I sound like a pervert? "No that's not what I mean...I just..." I tried to laugh it off hoping she wouldn't think I was a douche. She glanced inside through the sliding doors to see what looked like the girl she was dancing with earlier looking for her. When she turned back to look at me she had a look in her eyes that while I didn't know what it meant was still incredibly sexy. "Damn that's too bad... because I have been thinking about you naked since I ran into you this morning." She said confidently standing up and walking past me towards the house but not before brushing her hand across my leg. I watched her in awe as she walked back inside swinging her hips making my eyes go straight towards her ass. I sat there for a few minutes confused but extremely turned on... I couldn't lie I was definitely picturing her naked now.

Avery wrapped an arm around my waist to catch me before I could get out the door. He pushed me up against the door, trapping me between his body and the door. "What's wrong?" I asked innocently. His face hovered over mine, much closer than I was used to. His gaze didn't leave mine as he spoke. "It would have been different if I had told him from the start. You wanted me to lie for you. You started this. If we tell him what really happened, he would be pissed at me for lying to him." "Stormie, you got a phone call!" Mason yelled up the stairs. The closeness between Avery and me started to make my legs feel like Jell-O, and I couldn't make sense of it. Our breathing became heavier. His eyes trapped mine. "Answer him," Avery murmured. "Uh," I stammered. I cleared my throat. "Be down in a minute!" My voice came out higher than usual. My gaze still couldn't escape Avery's. My heart raced wildly as his chest rose and fell against mine. Avery's gaze flickered to my lips. What's happening? My gaze fell to his mouth, which was moving closer to mine. Stormie West is brave, kind, and young. She has a lot to learn about love, trust, lust, and heartbreak. Stormie's older brother, Mason, is brave, cocky, and a bit of an asshole. ***this book contains suicidal thoughts and tendencies, may not be appropriate for younger audiences*** In which she looks for the purpose of life. Lily Carter's parents died in a car crash leaving her and Laura, girl was depressed long before her parents passed away and with all the problems turning up now, Lily felt more miserable - if that's even possible. With her journey to look for life's purpose and grab the small pinch of HOPE - which is ironically her second name -, will she finally snap at the pressure and finally end it all? or will a small light lit her darkened world of grief and loneliness? * "So you know. The little goth girl who gets bullied is indeed a mess. There's this mess in her head that eats her alive everyday isn't it? What to do now Kaden? Tell the whole neighborhood and recieve an award for taking out a crazy in this world?" I spit like vomit. His eyes warmed up as I finished, "Lily. It isn't like that" "What is it then? People stopped caring... they gave up, why aren't you?" I fought my tears. "Because I feel the need to care. Did Leigh hurt you? Did she hit you?" he finally noticed the unusual redness of my cheek. I don't like the way he told me he needed to care for me. I felt like an obligation, a responsibility that he is carrying and carrying leads to getting tired and when people gets tired, they give up. I don't want them to give up on me. But they will, so it's good not to make them care for me in the first place. "I never needed anyone. I stopped needing anyone before, why start now?" I uttered the words again. Why? There is nothing to fight for. No mama. No papa. No sister to love me. No one. So why would I waste my life and the time of others to fix what is already broken - and someone who doesn't want to be fixed? If I may add. Maybe I gave up. No, scratch that. I gave up a long time ago - when my parents died, my hope and purpose went away with them.

How do you forgive yourself for the things you've done, or for what you could've? He didn't see it coming. The car - the flash of lights. The screech as it slammed into him. Not through his drunken haze as he wandered in the darkness. Alone. It's all my fault. I could've saved him, I should've. He's dead because of me. I'd do anything to take it back. To make it up to him. Anything at all. Even then, nothing I do will bring him back. Jamie Wayne has felt dead for as long as he has been. She's been visited by death before, but not like this. It's different. The pain is supposed to go away, or at least dull. After the death of her mother only a year ago, she and her father moved to a new town where she met Alex. Everyone knew him as the kind, attractive and socially acceptable guy he was. Except he was more than that - he was the light at the end of the tunnel when all she could find was darkness. But everything's different now. He's gone - dead. Nothing about it is normal, or makes sense. The only thing she knows for sure is that it isn't getting better - it's only getting worse. The more she remembers, the more she wants to forget. Everyone else already has. Only her mind won't let her, which makes her wonder if there's more to it. Or if there's a way to fix it. For once, she has to guide herself through the darkness to reach the light at the end of the tunnel on her own. If there is any.
