Pinkie Pie is dumped by her friends when they were supposed to have a picnic one day. Turning depressed, she walks into the Everfree Forest and stumbles upon a river that takes you to a whole different world. This wasn't just any old world. It was the world of Möbius, where Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends and enemies live.
The first Mobian Pinkie meets is Shadow the Hedgehog. At first he seemed to not care for her, and Pinkie was still trying to get used to being in a different place as a different being. They both do eventually fall for each other but they keep it a secret.
When the love get's too strong, the both of them start going insane together and finally admits to their love, but it doesn't stop the insanity that flows through their system and it could be too late for Sonic, the mane 5 plus Spike, and a few others to save them.

This is a Sonadow AU where Shadow is an alien from a different universe. He finds Mobius and tries to become the most powerful... but without anyone noticing him. He is trying to become one of them. Over time, he figures out that Sonic is the quote on quote "ultimate lifeform" on Mobius. He tries to become acquaintances with Sonic so he can learn their culture... as things take a turn.
